Can a Sony MiniDisc recorder record from a microphone with "voice operated recording" ? - microcassette voice recorder
I have a Sony MZ-R700 that I, as my old Sony M-627V Micro Cassette-Corder. I can not define what type of surgery, old voice, which began when a noise, a certain volume is reached. I want to do the same thing with the MD recorder.

You do not have this capability. Not really a dedicated voice recorder. One might think better with this device: Sony MZ-B10. I think this device will do what you want. See manual for more information. His Uncle Bob
